During downtown aspen is the thrift shop of aspen, the oldest and largest pre-Owned store in the town.It may be easy to miss, but just look for the fire station on hopkins avenue and you decide on it.It sits between the aspen volunteer fire department and a popular cafe.The shop has had several unique homes over its 63 year history, when it started for you to raise money for the local hospital.

The thrift shop has the tiniest bit of everything.You can find the perfect outfit for a night out and about, or get a new ski suit for built on the slopes.Nearly everything the store raises financially goes back into the city, and 114 volunteers do lots of the work.The thrift shop is a big promoter of local non profits in aspen.The store has given away over into the millions dollarsto promote local arts, higher educational, kids, air, and student free college funding.On $500, 000 was distributed last year alone.
